16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER BASED VIOLENCE

Every year from November 25 to December 10 over 160 countries participate in the international Campaign 16 Days of Activism against Gender based Violence.
TPO Foundation gives its contribution through variety of activities in order to raise awareness of citizens about violence consequences on individuals, families and society. Primary and secondary schools are partners in the campaign. Since schools are the key places of secondary socialization it is important for teachers, students and parents to work together in order to reduce peer and gender-based violence. Patriarchal and post-war traumatized and impoverished society internalizes violence as normal human behavior and therefore it is difficult to eradicate it and convince citizens to work against it.
Violence is not solution for anything and TPO Foundation invites everyone to stand against it effectively and help their community through peace activities, educational programs and fostering good.
Within 16 Days of Activism Campaign TPO Foundation launches the call for competition, organizes exibitions and the school campaigns.
